This publication is cheap and unattractive. Don't waste your money. Cheap binding, cheap paper, cheap reproductions. These beautiful drawings deserve better treatment than this. This publication looks like someone made a cheap photocopy of each drawing and then made a do-it-yourself book out of the result. Keep shopping for a better version of these works.
The artist is interesting. The layout and presentation of the book was not what I expected. Not what I thought it would be.
Disappointed in the quality of the paper printed on.
Everything was fine. Sorry that the cover didn't show the original drawing. But, then, it was advertised as a reprint.
I bought this book because of a reawakened interest in Gibran and a desire to see this art that was new to me. The surprise gift to me was the insightful and highly relevant introductory text. The drawing-paintings, as always, are fascinating, simple, profound, provocative, beautiful. This will be added to my treasured volumes.
